Naxos the largest island of the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea, has constituted a place of significance since the prehistoric era and, according to mythology, is where Zeus was raised. Nowadays, Naxos fascinates its visitors with its rich historical and cultural achievements, its natural beauty, as well as its developed tourist infrastructure.
The west coast of Naxos is fringed with mile upon mile of powdery sands. Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna delight everyone. As you head south, the beaches get wilder: Plaka, where you can gallop across the dunes on horseback, Mikri Villa for windsurfing and kitesurfing, and crystal-clear Kastraki.
Should you tire of frolicking on the shore, three supersized kouros statues are hidden in the hills and there are dozens of drowsy villages to explore. Try kitron, the local citron liqueur in Halki or sample homemade wine and arseniko cheese under the plane trees in Ano Potamia village.
No wonder Herodotus described Naxos as “the happiest of islands”.

The long golden sandy beach extends over two kilometres and has beautiful crystalline waters, protected from the strong winds frequently blowing on the island. One part of the beach is organized and offers sunbeds, umbrellas and water sports facilities whereas the other part is left to its natural beauty and totally unspoiled by tourist facilities. Sandy dunes are softly rising on this beach and, behind them lies a small village proposing various hotels, restaurants, cafes and bars. Agios Prokopios is just 5 kilometres away from the Chora, Naxos Town.

Who is who
Hey there, we’re Maria & Thodoris. Our love of travel has taken us all over the world but we always love coming back home to Naxos. We are avid travelers and enjoy feeling the world and creating new experiences.
Through these travels, we’ve been fortunate to learn what a “good” host looks like: A great home, with a friendly host, in an awesome neighborhood, and the ability to do the things you love!
We try ensure that each and every guest we host walks away with all of that and hopefully more. Till then feel grateful and keep in mind that the best things in life are the people we love, the places we've been, and the memories we've made along the way.
Passionate about “Thalassa” and love everything around her. We’re people who enjoy a glass of wine and exchanging stories with new friends. Like new foods, strong coffee, meeting people, sharing a laugh, and exploring new places. Trying to keep a positive attitude and enjoy life. Most of the sunny time we live in our island thus we’ll be available if you need anything.
